Pomorie lake
Pomorie lake is a lagoon and is located near the town of Pomorie. It is separated from the sea by natural sandy hair and an artificial dike. Salt and healing mud are extracted from it. A visitor center has been operating on the southern shore of the lake for several years, and in the immediate vicinity of it is the only Salt Museum in Bulgaria. The lake and the adjacent territories have been declared a Protected Area.
