Beach, Sozopol

The city has two beaches with fine golden sand. The central beach is better known and more easily accessible. Harmanite is larger and is located in the new part of town. The central beach is located between the old and the new town. Access to the beach is very easy. Admission is free and fees for umbrellas and sunbeds are low. The beach is most crowded in August. Harmanite Beach is located in the new part of town. This beach is wider and longer than the central beach. It may be more comfortable during the busier months of the season. The many small restaurants around the beach offer delicious food and fast service. Entrance to the beach is free. Umbrellas and sunbeds are at low prices, and if you do not want to use them, there are many places, especially at both ends of the beach, where you can sunbathe in a free area.
