Saint Thomas
St. Thomas is also known as Snake Island. It falls within the Ropotamo Reserve, near Primorsko on the southern Black Sea coast. It gets its name because of the gray water snakes that inhabit it. Its area is 12 decares. There are wild cacti on the island, planted in 1933 by Tsar Boris III, and to this day, they occupy most of the island, making it difficult to pass.
