Mandra Dam /Lake Mandra/
The old name of Mandra Dam is Lake Madra. It is located south of Burgas. It is part of the 4 Burgas lakes. It was a semi-salt lake, but in 1963 a dam wall was built, which turned it into a freshwater dam and increased its area about 4 times. In Mandra you can catch barbel, carp, perch, bream, redfish, carp, sunfish, pike and white fish.
