Aquae Calidae, Burgas

Aquae Calidae is a historic city located in the city of Burgas. It has been inhabited since the Neolithic era and archaeologists distinguish several periods of its use - Thracian sanctuary of the three nymphs, Roman baths of Aquae Calidae, Bulgarian and Byzantine Middle Ages, Ottoman period and after the Liberation. Incredible artifacts were found near the ruins, which can be seen in the Historical Museum of Burgas. Visitors can visit the completely restored bath of Suleiman the Magnificent and watch special 3D projections, through which they can virtually move from the Thracian era and the legend of the Holy Spring of the three nymphs, through the Roman era, to the time of Suleiman the Magnificent.
