"Chengene Skele" Protected Area
Chengene Skele, also known as Cingene Skele is a protected area located east of Burgas. The area includes a part of the eponymous Chengene Bay, part of the village of Marinka and the Burgas district of Kraimorie, with a total area of 160 hectares. It has been established that the territory of the area is inhabited by a large number of birds rare in Europe and included in the Red Book of Bulgaria, which is why in 1995 it was declared protected.
